Imagine if you had an assistant to create all of your events for you? 🪄

Whilst we can’t provide a Fairy Godmother, we’ve come close: Introducing AI Assist, your new tool to take care of the fiddly bits for you – just by asking Claude.

  • Create an event and tickets with a simple ask.
  • Automate the fiddly-bits like tiered ticket pricing options, scheduling event publishing and importing a list of access code tickets for sponsors.

Or ask for AI-powered insights to help grow your events:

  • "Show a report of my event sales for the past month and plot this on a graph."
  • "Compare this quarter’s sales to the same period last year."
  • "Predict when my event will sell out, based on the sales so far."

Perfect for on-the-go event organisers, our AI Assist MCP connector lets you create your own virtual assistant, so you can get things done as quickly as you can ask for it.

Rounding treatment for exclusive tax

Jonny avatar
Shared by Jonny • June 16, 2025

We’re updating how "exclusive tax" is calculated on orders to make it more consistent and open doors for better reporting, and integrations with third party accounting software.

Previously, exclusive tax was rounded at the total order level, which could sometimes lead to small differences compared to rounding tax for individual items. Going forward, tax will be rounded at the item level instead.

Example before – order level rounding
3 X Tickets $19.98 = $59.94
20% tax of $59.94 = $11.99

Total: $71.93

Example after – item level rounding

3 X Tickets $19.98 + $4.00 tax at 20% = $71.94

Total: $71.94

Zapier just got more powerful, with new 'actions' and extra 'triggers'.

We've just improved our Zapier integration giving you more triggers.

Plus, you can now automate actions in Ticket Tailor based on triggers from other apps! (For example adding promo codes from a spreadsheet list to your box office).

To get started with your powerful Zapier connection:

Customise search and filters on your event pages

It’s now even easier to tailor the event listing experience for your attendees 🎯.

From your Box office design tool, you can customise which search and filter options appear on your event pages – helping buyers quickly find the events that matter most to them.

A brand new Search and filters section on the Listings tab gives you control over options like keyword search, date filtering, sorting, and now a venue filter too!

Whether you run events across multiple locations or simply want to streamline navigation, this update gives you more flexibility to present your events the way that works best for your audience.

We’ve updated the Connect apps page to make it easier to find the tools you need.

Integrations are now grouped by category, with clearer setup info, helpful support links, and a quick view of which apps are active in your box office.

Searchable dropdowns

Long dropdown lists can be tricky to navigate, especially when you're asking ticket buyers to select from many options. To make this easier, we’ve introduced searchable dropdowns at checkout.

Now, when a dropdown has more than 10 options, buyers will automatically see a search box—making it quicker and simpler to find the right answer.

This makes it easier than ever to break up sections of content like itineraries, FAQs or testimonials – helping your attendees scan and understand your event information at a glance.

With just one click, you can now create a neat visual break in your content, giving your event page a more polished and easy-to-read layout. ☺️

Based on the FTC Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees (aka the “Junk Fees Rule”) which came in to effect on the 12th May, 2025, the total cost your buyer pays (including booking fees) is displayed upfront for events selling tickets in USD.
