Right of withdrawal button for Products (for EU customers) πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

Shared by Jonny β€’ June 24, 2026

If you are based in the EU, and sell Products through your box office, you can now offer the Right of withdrawal to your customers, in accordance with the new EU regulations.

Contact us to add this setting to your box office.

What's new:

  • A withdrawal link in order confirmation emails
EU customers who buy products will now see a withdrawal button in their order complete email. The link is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase, in line with the statutory window.
  • A secure, simple withdrawal page
Clicking the link takes customers to a secure page where they can confirm their details and submit their withdrawal request. No login needed.
  • You're notified straight away
Once a request is submitted, you'll receive an email to review and respond. Your customer also gets a confirmation that their request has been received.
  • Customise the wording for your region
You can edit the withdrawal text and button label in your box office settings to reflect your local language and legal requirements. We'd recommend taking your own legal advice on the exact wording for your country.

Attach PDF tickets to your broadcast emails

You can now include ticket PDFs directly in broadcast emails, so your attendees always have their tickets to hand.

When creating your broadcast, simply tick "Attach ticket PDF to Broadcasts" before sending. Each recipient will receive their own ticket PDF as an attachment, alongside your message. (You can still include the ticket QR codes inline, as placeholders too).

It's perfect for sending last-minute event reminders, venue updates, or joining instructions, with no need for attendees to dig through their original confirmation email to find their ticket.

Have more control over admin orders with Admin bypass

Shared by Jonny β€’ June 17, 2026

As an event creator, you may sometimes need to override ticket dependency rules for a customer.

Tick the "Admin bypass" box, to continue with a manual order that ignores dependencies.

Handy for those moments when a customer needs to add an extra child ticket, or squeeze another session into their schedule.

In-person orders need Android 13 or higher from 1st July

Rhio avatar
Shared by Rhio β€’ June 08, 2026

From 1 July 2026, all devices used to sell tickets in person via our check-in app, via Tap to Pay on Android must be running Android 13 or above.

After this date, older devices won't be able to accept payments.

Before 1 July 2026:

  1. Make sure you're running Android 13
  2. Check your device is supported on Stripe's list of supported devices. If your device isn't on Stripe's supported list, you'll need to switch to a new one.

If you're selling tickets from your iPhone, or Apple device, you don't need to do anything.

Perfect if you’re sending membership broadcasts announcing your next membership ticket releases, you can now add a membership code placeholder to your confirmation email templates, so members always receive their code in the right place when they need it.

Clearer checkout form questions

Jonny avatar
Shared by Jonny β€’ June 01, 2026

We've reorganised checkout form questions into three clear categories:

  • Buyer questions (asked once per order)
  • Event questions (asked once per event)
  • Attendee questions (asked for every ticket issued).

If you run lots of events, and are using multi-checkout, this makes it much clearer which questions apply where.

  • Already up and running? Head to Box Office settings > Integrations > Import > Import from Eventbrite.
  • Simply press the button, and paste your Eventbrite URL to copy it into Ticket Tailor - just like magic!
  • Your event imports automatically, ready for you to tweak and publish whenever you're ready.

Make sure your buyers don't forget your event with SMS and WhatsApp event reminders!

You can now offer SMS and WhatsApp event reminders at checkout, so your ticket buyers get a helpful nudge 24 hours before your event.

What buyers get:

  1. An instant WhatsApp/SMS confirmation message after booking
  2. An WhatsApp/SMS reminder 24 hours before each event

Handy for them. Reassuring for you.

How pricing works

Sending reminders costs 10p per event, per order.

So, if a buyer books:

  1. One event β†’ 10p total
  2. Two events in the same order β†’ 20p total

As always, the price your buyer pays is fully under your control.

P.S. This feature is currently only available to UK box offices

Improved Square reporting: itemised sales data πŸ“Š

Ashton avatar
Shared by Ashton β€’ April 28, 2026

Your Ticket Tailor sales can now flow into Square as fully itemised records, rather than appearing as a generic 'custom amount'. That means Square's reporting tools can finally give you a clear breakdown of your event revenue.

What's changed?

🎟️ Each ticket type appears as a named line item, with the event name and price
πŸ’° Sales tax is split out automatically, so there's no more guesswork
πŸ—‚οΈ All sales are categorised under 'Ticket Tailor' (or mapped to your own custom categories) for easy identification
βž• Upsell products can appear as a line item within the event item, or separately

This means that you can now use Square's Item Sales and Category Sales reports to see revenue broken down by event and ticket type.

How to enable itemised reporting

Go to 'Settings' > 'Payment systems', scroll to your Square account, and click 'Enable itemised reporting'.

You'll need to reauthorise your Square account to get started.
